A little about me…

I am best known for my smile and my laugh! My life passion is prayer and to help others hear God’s voice.

I’ve been married to my hunk o’ love for forty plus years, and together we have four children who have blessed us with thirteen grandchildren. I was a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom while our kids were growing up! They call me “1208 Robin Drive Mom.” That is where they call “home,” since my hubby’s first career was in the Air Force and we lived in a few states while they were babies.

I started a career in The Pampered Chef at the top of 1994 to offset the costs of Christian education. After seven years of homeschooling, we had one in Christian college, one in Christian high school, and two in elementary Christian school. I retired my Pampered Chef team of consultants in 2014, and my own consultant status in 2017. I was best known in my career as the Consultant whose Kitchen Show Sparkled, and for my career byline “no funny, no money!”

Like I said, I love to laugh and give others a fun time!

A few years ago, we moved to an active lifestyle retirement community north of Keller, Texas. It was a hard transition because I love young families and the sounds of children playing, and we lived there for seventeen years! Where we live now, it’s quiet, peaceful and well, it just feels…well…retired here! Ha-ha! But, I’ve learned to appreciate the atmosphere and the perks of a retirement community.

Now, I’m at the place where I am looking for how to serve my last twenty plus years on earth…so, here I am setting up a dedicated blog site. My friends and family call me the Tech Queen. I’ll always be young enough to master technology (in Jesus’ Mighty Name)!

I hope you enjoy my musings and wonder-rants! Prepare to get your happy on and gobble up some Word…

“For the happy heart, life is a continual feast.” Proverbs 15: 15b NLT
